This place was awesome. We came in around 6 and sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by our awesome server. She recommended the beers, the apps, the food, everything - and we loved it all. Being from Texas, we can't wait to come back to Colorado so we can eat here again!

This restaurant has me coming back for more. Ambiance is relaxing. Staff is upbeat and friendly. Food is delicious! And drinks are well put together (Martinis). Wife and I find when we just want to have a relaxing meal together this one of the places we will dine. Recommended to friends and family.

This is our go to restraunt even though I am upset they got rid of their spicy sausage marinara. But their other dishes are still. Good. And the bartenders are very friendly adds to the great ambience.

Raw meatballs? That was a first. Disturbing actually and a bit embarrassing for the manager who quickly rectified the issue and comped the meal. Kind of funny when the waitress asked if everything was all right and responded with "great", not waiting for a response from us. An all around awkward evening.

I love this place! The food is great and the staff is so nice! It's a little pricey but for the quality of food you get and portion size, I think it is well worth it!

Great food. Poor service. Waited 10 minutes to be seated. Not bad for a Friday night. Waited several minutes for a waiter. Waited 10 minutes for water. Ordered. Had to ask for bread. Waited 20 minutes for bread. Not very attentive. My filet mignon was good. My wife's ahi was excellent. Too bad the service was lacking.

This is my first time here, and I have to say I was very impressed! The decore is modern and beautiful. Mostly, the food was fantastic!!! I highly recommend the Tomato Florentine soup! The artichoke dip was really awesome, as well!

The place like the menu is a joke. I left wishing I would have eaten at the local gas station and saved the money and time I wasted here. Nice employees, they can't help the fact the food/building is horrible.

A friend and I tried this place for dinner recently. We had a BOGO entree with two drinks. We both tried the med chicken... And two 3 oz pours of wine. Our server was friendly, although didn't really know the specials. The cons? 1. Our bill was wrong and I didn't notice right away...taken care of, but annoying. 2. Chicken was a bit too butter heavy for me So good, but there are other places to try.

To pricey! To noisy and I had my kids and they were the quietest in the place!! Not happy at all I would suggest fast food!!! I will never walk through the doors of that establishment ever again!!!!

Setting-great! Food-hmm... The last two times I have been to the Rustic Oven I have ordered the "used to be my favorite" Tomato Florentine soup. What I got: lukewarm: watered down with cream, grease floating on top, tomato, liquid. Sure I ate it-I'm of that generation of "waste not want not", but it was a big disappointment. This time also ordered chicken pesto pizza with a gluten free crust. Now, I was there at an off time, not busy that is, so my pizza could have been given a little more TLC. Yes, it was hot and cheesy, and yes chicken....big hunks! Even got a big ole hunk of skin. What? I guess I expected tidy diced bits of meat... To boot, with only one other group in the bar area, my daughters drink order was wrong and the bartender was like "huh, are you sure?" BTW, sorry, I did waste. The leftover pizza was not worth boxing up.

Friday lunch with a friend/coworker. Had the half pizza and soup lunch special. The arugula and mushroom pizza was delicious and the perfect size, the potato soup was pretty good. Thought it would have been a little thicker, next time I'll try the tomato. Service was great, our server Jenna was attentive and made good recommendations!

Came with a friend who lives nearby who recommended it and so glad we came here! I had the bacon and blackberry pizza. Never had such a thing but it was really good. We sat on the patio and it was a hot day but they have misters that helped.

I had high expectations. It wasn't bad, but I can't say it was worth the price. They have a very extensive menu... Which is good. They have a great wine list and at first the atmosphere is very comfortable, until you hear the 1950's pop being blasted from the radio. That doesn't quite fit. The soup was amazing, but we got the scallops also, and that was very disappointing. They were partially cold and tasted like they came from those bags of frozen scallops that come from Sysco. I don't know where else I could get gluten free lobster Mac. So that is very impressive. It was decent, but overpowered by garlic to the point that all other flavors were unrecognizable. The service was okay. Nothing spectacular. So all in all I give this restaurant a resounding....meh...

I've always held the opinion that Ft. Collins cuisine is about as varied and interesting as a John Denver concert. For the most part I think I'm still correct with a few exceptions, and Rustic Oven is one of them. The restaurant is in the strip mall along Harmony that sprung up a few years ago and has been kept clean and presentable, and aside from the lack of parking it's in a good location if you're staying in the south part of town. The staff was very friendly and attentive, our waitress recommended a great flight of three reds (for $10!) and it came out on a very cool tiered tower. Nice presentation there. I think I had the best entree choice at our table, I had the Mediterranean Stuffed Chicken with and holy crap did they get that chicken right. Super moist, cooked to soft supple perfection - not overdone like you get everywhere else. It's almost a full half chicken stuffed with feta, garlic, spinach, roasted red peppers, topped with a béchamel sauce, and served over Yukon gold mashed potatoes. I was super pleased. It was a big meal and the flavor profile was absolutely on point. For $15, I thought it was a good deal. Happy hour is a little weird - 3-5 and 8-Close, but wine is 1/2 off on Tuesdays. I say give it a try! I'll be back to sample the lunch menu for sure.

We dined here recently and were very disappointed with the food. We had heard great things about this restaurant, but our visit was very lackluster. My husband ordered a rib-eye with horseradish and sour cream mashed potatoes. The steak was very small (menu didn't list size) and it was very chewy and wasn't seasoned. It was cooked how he ordered it though, which was the one good thing. The mashed potatoes had no hint of horesradish whatsoever. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese and it was mediocre. There was a lot of lobster in it, which was great, but the flavor was just blah. Finally, we decided to get dessert since my husband wasn't full from his small steak, so we ordered cheesecake. It came out in under 2 minutes and was frozen, not cold, frozen. We had to cut it with a knife and let it sit for about 15 minutes to be able to really enjoy it. To their credit, they did offer to bring us another cheesecake when we complained, but we figured it would be the same situation, so we declined. We will not eat here again. The staff is extremely young and inexperienced. They seemed very distracted and unmotivated to do a good job. I'm very disappointed that our visit was so bad. For $70, I expect nothing short of a great meal.

The atmosphere was wonderful with live music and a homey feeling. We sat at the bar but were not pressured to drink more which was relaxing. There were no rude, or obscene people anywhere to be found. The service was okay, but given we were sitting at a bar table that's acceptable. The buffalo ravioli was out of this world. The shell could have been cooked a little bit longer but the sauce and the meat were perfected. The prime rib was also delicious.

The first time we ate at the Rustic Oven-it was awesome! This New Year's Eve-not good at all! We had been waiting for a special occasion to go to RO again. My husband's Lobster Mac & Cheese-where was the cheese??? Dry/hardened/baked to long parmesan on the top. Scratched his throat all the way down. That was it for the cheese. Previous visit was creamy Mac & Cheese. What's up-new cook? New Owner? Call Chef Ramsey for help, please.

Best bartenders, greeters, and wait staff in Fort Collins. Not to mention the amazing food provided by one of the BEST chefs in Colorado. Dubs knows how to cook!

This is a sad little story of an otherwise good food item. My friend and I agreed to meet here for happy hour only to find out that happy hour ends at 5. What, 5?! Really? It's as if they feel obligated to do a happy hour but don't really want to do it so they end it ridiculous early. Our waitress was very friendly but either really inexperienced or just had a really bad night. I waited for 15 minutes for the glass of water that she offered me. She never did get around to asking me for my drink order and by that point I was annoyed and decided I was going to spend as little as possible. For dinner, I ordered the wild mushroom, arugula and goat cheese pizza. I asked her if there was regular cheese along with the goat and she told me no. I asked for the gluten free crust and half the amount of goat cheese. The pizza comes out covered in so much cheese it looked like the cooks put a fire out on my pizza with cheese. I sent it back and she seemed shocked that it had all that cheese. Ten to fifteen minutes later I get the pizza and my friend is halfway through her meal. This is the only good thing about this whole experience - the pizza was really good. The crust was thin, flaky and melted in your mouth (it is a corn/rice flour combo and it was spot on). The mushrooms weren't exactly wild mushrooms but the chive oil and goat cheese was nice. We finished up and waited and waited and waited. Finally she comes to our table and offers us split bills. (I was disappointed that nothing was deducted from my bill and there was no offer of a scoop of sorbet to apologize for the mix up and subsequent wait for my food). Less than five minutes later she comes back with one bill. It took some time to flag her down (all of her tables seemed to have trouble flagging her down) and when we asked her for a split bill she acted like she hadn't been the one to suggest it. Nervous to give her my credit card, I figured, what the heck, live on the edge. She did manage to get the right bill charged to the right card and we were finally free to go and never return.

What happened to the Rustic Oven? Been here several times and always happy with the menu selection and prices, and the food is always good. But on most recent visit found the menu has changed and the prices have been raised. $18.95 for macaroni and cheese? Yikes! And it wasn't true mac and cheese - this turned out to be a penne dish that was supposed to have lobster in it but there was very little lobster and a lot of bacon to mask that fact - certainly not worth the price. The wine list is expensive and filled with unknown wineries. To hide the crazy wine prices they offer 3 oz pours! What's that? The new nenu took away some very good dishes - especially our favorite the buffalo ravioli. The service was mediocre and our server thought it was funny that he'd played a trick on the hostess by not putting any cutlery in the rolled napkins he'd prepared for the evening. Very disappointed in these changes. Recommend for good tasting food, but be prepared for the bill!

The reviews on this place are pretty much right on. The food is good. The pizza and salad for lunch makes for a nice lunch. That being said you can definitely find better pizza, however probably not on Harmony in Ft. Collins.

I visited Rustic Oven with a co-worker for a business lunch. Whenever I'm in Fort Collins, I'll be back. The entire staff was friendly from start to finish, our waiter was efficient, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, and the food was pretty yummy! She ordered the salmon salad (and raved!), I ordered the chicken gorgonzola salad (and devoured the entire delicious thing!) Good food + good service = happy guests who return. Simple formula, this restaurant gets it correct!

Came with a friend for happy hour. Not especially great happy hour prices but definitely delicious drinks. Martinis were $5 and I would recommend the ruby red martini. Delish! I ordered a pizza with blue cheese, bacon and balsamic onions. Very good. The atmosphere was up to date, the bartender (a blonde girl whose name I didn't catch) was friendly and prompt. The only con might have been the price. Call me a cheapo, but $25 for happy hour isn't too snazzy.

Good service and à Great steak. Think that's the best summary I can give. Enjoyed every second I spend there. If you look for things to complain about you can surely find them but I will come back.

Myself and a couple of friends attended the Rustic Oven one Friday evening. We sat at the bar and it seemed like a nice atmosphere and not too busy unlike the rest of Ft Collins that weekend. So "unbusy" that the bartender was sending her support staff home early. We ordered drinks, 1 appetizer and 1 pizza. We sat at the bar and watched numerous other people get their drinks before us when they ordered after. I feel like this happens all the time but rarely when you are actually sitting at the bar. As we were very hungry we ordered an appetizer (bruschetta) thinking it would be quick....wrong. Thirty minutes later we asked our bartender only to be told the kitchen is behind to be assured she put it in offering no apologies. Ten minutes later.....appetizer arrives, burnt, only to be followed moments later by our pizza. So much for that. Food was ok....except for the burnt part. We reluctantly paid our $50 tab and headed out hoping never to return again. BUT....after checking our bank statement the following week we were overcharged on our credit card. Went in on lunch to break to remedy the problem with the manager. Told me she would call me later. Never did. Returned yet again to speak with manager. Luckily money was refunded. Manager apologized but did not seem to realize my deep annoyance with this situation and the Rustic Oven's overall disconcern or righting the wrongs. Ugh...won't be going back and waste of money and time all around.
